SBI Mutual Fund launches SBI Debt Fund Series (SDFS)

Kolkata, May 27 (UNI) SBI Mutual Fund, one of the leading mutual funds in the country, is launching 'SBI Debt Fund Series' (SDFS), a series of close-ended debt schemes with various maturities.

The subscription for SBI Debt Fund Series will open on May 29 and would close the next day. The scheme will have a minimum application of Rs 10,000 and in multiples of Rs 1,000 per application. Though there is no entry load, exit load will be applicable to the fund, company sources here today said.

SBI Mutual Fund is the seventh largest AMC in the country in terms of AUM and third largest in terms of equity assets managed amounting to over Rs 13,500 crores.

The Equity schemes of SBI Mutual Fund have performed exceedingly well the sources said adding five equity schemes have been ranked CPR1 by CRISIL.

SBI Mutual Fund has an investor base of over 20 lakhs spread over 29 schemes. With a large network over 36 collection branches, 26 investor service centres, 20 investor service desks and 32 district organizers covering 78 centres, SBI MF constantly endeavors to get closer to our growing family of investors, the sources added.
