Rain affects life in Tripura

Agartala, May 27 (UNI) Life in Tripura was affected following heavy rainfall since yesterday.

The low lying areas of the capital town and elsewhere in the state were waterlogged because of the rains.

Local Met office said the capital town received a rainfall of 107.8 mm in the past 24 hours.

It, however, warned that thunder squall with heavy rains was likely to occur at a few places of the state. The wind speed was also likely to reach between 50km and 55 km per hour.
