Officials held for bribery

Hyderabad, May 27 (UNI) Sleuths of the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) today trapped G Ravi Kumar, Assistant Divisional Engineer of APSPDCL Offfice in Guntur district when he accepted Rs 3,000 as bribe from a person.

An ACB press release here said officials arrested him and recovered the amount. Kumar would be later produced before Special Judge for ACB cases at Vijayawada.

In an another incident, the ACB officials arrested Konda Babu, Mandal Revenue Inspector of Visakhapatnam Rural Mandal for accepting Rs 5,000 as bribe from a person.

The accused would be produced before the special Judge for ACB Cases, Visakhapatnam.
