Jamiatul to strengthen base in AP

Hyderabad, May 27 (UNI) Jamiatul-Ulama-e-Hind Working Committee Member Mufti Ghayasuddin Qasmin today said the party will strengthen its base in the state in future.

Addressing newsmen, Mr Qasmin said the Jamiat, which won 11 seats in the recent Assam Assembly elections, has working for the uplift of poor Muslims and the downtrodden with a secular mind.

He said the state and union governments were appreciative of the Jamiat's services.
