Jains, students take out rally

Pondicherry, May 27 (UNI) The Jain community people and students in the Union Territory of Pondicherry today organised the 'Ahimsa and Pariyavaran' rally here on behalf of the Sri Jayamal Jain Parswa Padmodai Rastriya civil trust, Bangalore.

PMC legislator Mr.Anand inaugurated the rally. The rally which passed through the main thoroughfares of the town was also to create awareness among the people of the adverse effect of tobacco and liquor.
