Flowers for blood

Rajahmundry, May 27 (UNI) For Ambati Nataraju it was a proud moment when TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu presented him with a bouquet.

The TDP Telugu Yuvatha Organising Secretary and Red Cross Member was donating blood for the seventy-first time and Mr Naidu could not help but congratulate the incorrigible blood donor for his social consciousness Mr Naidu also had a pat for several youths who had come to donate blood. Did someone say the TDP was only IT-savvy? xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx For delegates who expected to attend the conclave in cool confines of the venue, it was a disappointment.

The organisers had promised to air-condition the venue to make them feel comfortable.

However, the delegates had to battle with the heat using the innocuous newspaper for the purpose. So much so for the promises made by politicians.
