Contest to design Varsity logo

Tirupati, May 27 (UNI) The new Yogi Vemana University (YVU) will conduct a national level contest to design a logo.

According to Vice-Chancellor (in-charge) S Jayarama Reddy the emblem should depict ancient Indian culture based on Vedic and Sanskrit literature. It must contain the figure of Yogi Vemana too.

The best entry would be awarded Rs 5,000, and Rs 2,000 and Rs 1,000 for the second and third respectively.
