Cong will sweep civic polls: CM

Machilipatnam, May 27 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today claimed that the Congress would win majority of seats in the ensuing Panchayat Raj elections.

Talking to newspersons at Kuchipudi in Krishna district here, he said the people were responding overwhelmingly to the welfare schemes and would vote for the party in the civic polls.

Earlier, participating in 'pallebata programme' at Kodali, he said the Centre would constitute a commission to resolve the issue of categorisatiion of SC reservations.
