Guna (MP), May 27: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said reservation for other backward classes in higher education institutions should be introduced through consensus after a country-wide debate on it.

Talking to reporters here, Mr Chouhan said it was improper to create discord in the society on the reservation issue for the sake of vote-bank politics.

Claiming that several measures taken for all-round development of the state had started giving results, he said about 40,000 km good quality roads would be built in the next two and a half years.

Several schemes on education, health, power generation and water conservation were in progress, he added.
