Child labourers rescued in Mumbai

Mumbai, May 27 :The police today rescued 141 child labourers from Shivaji Nagar here following a complaint from an NGO.

The children were found working in hotels and mostly in ''jari'' and embroidery units.

The children were brought to the DCP 's office at Chembur and would later be shifted to the children's home at Mankurd. According to sources, most of the children hail from Bihar.
