Anti-quota activist attempts self immolation

New Delhi, May 27 (UNI) An anti-quota activist attempted to immolate himself at the Ramlila Grounds here during a 'Maha Rally' organised by the Youth For Equality this evening to protest against the Government decision to reserve 27 per cent seats for OBCs in higher educational institutions.

Police said the youth, yet to be identified, was rushed to the Lok Nayak jaiprakash Narayan Hospital with 50 per cent burn injuries.
