2 killed, 3 hurt as jeep falls into gorge

Idukki, May 27 (UNI) Two people were killed and three injured seriously when their jeep lost control and fell into a deep gorge at Pullupara near Kuttikanam in the district today.

Police identified the deceased as Former Elappara Gramapanchayat Secretary George and Shyamala, a panchayat employee.

The injured were admitted to the Kottayam Medical College Hospital.
