US Admiral arrives at ENC

Visakhapatnam, May 26 (UNI) An eight-member delegation led by US Pacific Fleet Commander Admiral Gary Roughead arrived here today on a two-day visit to Eastern Naval Command (ENC).

According to an ENC release, the Admiral was received by ENC Flag Officer Commanding-Chief Vice Admiral Suresh Mehta at ENC headquarters and presented a guard of honour.

Later, Admiral Roughead held discussions with Vice Admiral Mehta on various issues of mutual interest among the Navies.

He was also briefed on the role and functions of the ENC.

During the visit, the Admiral, his wife Ellen Roughead and the delegation led by him will pay a visit to Naval dockyard, Kursura and Visakha Maritime Museums.
