UPSC declares results for defence exams
New Delhi, May 26 (UNI) Altogether 544 candidates have been declared qualified in the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2005 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.
The candidates have been declared qualified on the basis of written examination and interview for the admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force Wings of the National Defence Academy for the 116th Course and Naval Academy 10+2 (Executive Branch) for the 36th Course commencing from July, 2006.
The number of vacancies for the Army is 195, Navy 39, Air Force 66 and Naval Academy (Executive Branch) 35, a release said.
Candidates will have to contact the Facilitation Counter of the Commission or call up at the following telephone numbers 23385271, 23381125, 23098543.
The result are also available on the UPSC website--www.upsc.gov.in.
