Two Commercial Tax officials convicted in bribery case

Hyderabad, May 26 (UNI) The Special Judge for Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) here today convicted A Yadagiri, Assistant Commercial Tax Officer and N Upender Reddy, Senior Assistant of CTO, Nalgonda in a bribery case.

The judge sentenced them to undergo two years rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 2000 each.

Both were trapped by the ACB when they accepted Rs 4,000 as bribe from the complainant on November 17, 1999, an ACB release said here.
