TDP Chief desires changes in party set-up

Hyderabad, May 26 (UNI)Telugu Desam Party Chief N Chandrababu Naidu today said that there was need for some changes in the party set-up.

Talking to newsmen on the eve of the party's annual conclave starting at Rajahmundry tomorrow, Mr Naidu said the party which was entering the silver jubilee year can take credit for changing the course of the development and welfare activities in the state.

He alleged the Congress Government was taking the state backwards in all sectors.

The Congress leaders, who had strongly criticised the World Bank's policies while in the Opposition, were now religiously following them.

Mr Naidu also said the Congress, which promised free power in it's election manifesto, was unable to provide even normal power supply and was imposing power cuts throwing the agriculture and industrial sectors into crisis.
