SW Monsoon sets over Kerala

Hyderabad, May 26 (UNI) South West monsoon has set over South Kerala and some parts of Tamil Nadu today.

Talking to UNI here, Indian Meteorological Department Official Satya Kumar said conditions were favourable for further advancement of the monsoon over remaining parts of Kerala and southern parts of Karnataka in the next two days.

Conditions were also suitable for advancement of South West Monsoon over some parts of North-East, including Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya and Sikkim in the next two or three days.

The monsoon advanced over Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep, South West Bay and parts of West Central Bay, Mr Kumar said.
