SEB services declared essential

Bhopal, May 26 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh government has declared the services of State Electricity Board personnel as essential in public interest.

A notification in this regard issued on May 25 would remain in force for three months, official sources said.

Madhya Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act 1979 prohibits any refusal to work. The services of scientific, technical, operational and ministerial personnel connected with power generation, transmission and distribution have been declared as essential.
