Pro-tem speaker to take oath on May 29

Pondicherry, May 26 : A V Sreedharan, senior Congress member elected from Palloor constituency, who was appointed pro-tem speaker, will take the oath as a member of the Assembly on May 29.

According to an official release today, Pondicherry Lt Governor M M Lakhera will administer the oath of office to Mr Sreedharan at 1100 hours at Raj Nivas.

Mr Sreedharan will later administer the oath to the newly elected MLAs.
