Pak fishermen to return home by Thar Express tomorrow
Jodhpur, May 26 (UNI) A group of 59 Pakistani fishermen, accused of infiltrating into India along the international border in Gujarat will be sent back to their country by Thar Express tomorrow.
Border Security Force sources in Gujarat, said they arrested these 59 fishermen in the Kutch region sometime back and handed them over to Gujarat police.
The home ministry has directed the Gujarat police to deport them to Pakistan.
A police team accompanying these fishermen reached Jodhpur from Jamnagar yesterday. They will be taken to Munabao tomorrow from where they will leave for Pakistan by the Thar Express.
They are currently lodged in a special cell in Jodhpur Central jail.
According to sources, the home ministry had asked the railways to provide a special coach for them on the Thar Express. They have also asked the North Western Railways to issue tickets to these fishermen.
