'No rebellion' in Karnataka claims BJP
New Delhi, May 26 (UNI) An embarassed BJP today attempted to soft pedal the trouble in its Karnataka unit over the inclusion of a famale legislator in the next Cabinet expansion.
BJP Spokesman Prakash Javadekar making light of the statement protesting against the proposal to induct a female MLC said 'internal differences' within a party could not be viewed as rebellion. ''Things were under control and sorted out,'' he said.
He said the JD(S)-BJP coalition was going well with the people of Karnataka who felt relieved and liberated from the clutches of the Congress party. ''The coalition has completed 100 days and things are going on well as stated by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy,'' he said.
