Modi to visit South Gujarat on May 26, 27

Surat, May 25 (UNI) Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will attend a number of functions in the South Gujarat districts of Dangs and Surat tomorrow and 27.

He will leave Ahmedabad tomorrow morning and reach Saputara in Dangs district by about 1030 hrs. There, he will attend a foundation stone laying ceremony and bhoomi poojan of an underground drainage project and inauguration of Greeshma Mahotsav (summer festival) in Saputara.

In the afternoon, he will visit Prajapitha Brahmakumari Sansthan and visit the spiritual art gallery and inaugurate the light and sound show.

He will leave Saputara and reach Surat by about 1700 hrs.

In Surat, he will inaugurate water supply projects in Variyav and Pal-Planpur and attend a public meeting in Pal. He will also attend a felicitation programme in the city on the same day.

Next day in the morning, he will attend a bhoomi poojan of 250 mv power project expansion at Mangrole in Surat and leave for Ahmedabad in the afternoon.
