Mining officer suspended

Bhopal, May 26(UNI) The Madhya Pradesh government has suspended Dewas district incharge mining officer Anil Sharma for negligence in discharging the duty and violating an order of the mining directorate.

Mining Resources Secretary Dev Raj Birdi issued the suspension order yesterday as Anil Sharma failed to join an inspection team at Bhopal to check illicit excavation and transportation of minerals in Bhopal division. The official could not reach the office at Bhopal in compliance to the order, official sources said.
