Medicos reject govt appeal, to continue strike
Bhopal, May 26 (UNI) Rejecting the government appeal to call off the strike, junior doctors here have decided to continue the strike saying there is no question of calling off the agitation.
Junior Doctors Association's Bhopal unit president Amit Tyagi said the junior doctors reached the private People's Medical College in a rally and blocked the bypass road for a brief period.
Dr Tyagi said doctors will strongly oppose the government move for OBC reservation in higher education institutions.
Meanwhile, health services in the state capital's Hamidia hospital remained paralysed though the hospital authorities claimed emergency cases were being attended to by senior doctors.
