Left Front to celebrate victory

Kolkata, May 26 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister V S Achutanandan and his Tripura counterpart Manik Sarkar will be present at the victory celebrations of the Left Front here on May 28.

Left Front Committee Chairman Biman Basu today said both the Chief Ministers, who would be in the city for the CPI(M) Polit Bureau meeting, had been invited to attend the celebrations to be held at the Netaji Indoor Stadium.

The party bigwigs, including General Secretary Prakash Karat and several other Polit Bureau members, are also expected to attend the function.

The ruling Front formed its seventh successive Government in the state on May 18 after winning the Assembly elections.
