JK Governor condemns attack on tourists

Srinagar, May 26 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Governor Lt Gen (Retd) S K Sinha today expressed deep shock over ''barbaric attack'' on a tourist bus here last evening in which four children were killed.

In a statement here, the Governor condemned the ''criminal act'' directed against innocent tourists.

The deplorable attack was also directed against Kashmiris who were entirely dependent on tourist traffic for economic development, Gen Sinha added.

''This shows that these so-called jehadis are against the people of Jammu and Kashmir,'' he said while conveying deep condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families.
