Chennai, May 26 (UNI) Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and All India Anna DMK (AIADMK) General Secretary J Jayalalithaa today said she would attend the State Assembly from tomorrow.

Reversing her decision to stay away from attending the House, Ms Jayalalithaa said the en masse eviction of party MLAs from the House and their suspension for the rest of the session was an attempt to stifle the voice of the party in the Assembly.

Speaker R Avudaiappan's action of suspending the members for the rest of the session, amounted to ''murder of democracy,'' she said adding ''nobody can stifle the voice of AIADMK.'' After the AIADMK members were evicted, Chief Minister M Karunanidhi had appealed to the Speaker to reconsider the decision and allow the AIADMK MLAs to attend the House, if they offered an apology for their ''misconduct.'' Whether the suspended MLAs would be allowed to attend the House tomorrow would be known only after the Business Advisory Committee meeting at 0900 hrs tomorrow.

Ms Jayalalithaa had said she would refrain from attending the House as the same people who had attacked her inside the Assembly on March 25, 1989 were now ministers.
