Five boys drown in lake

Belgaum, Karnataka, May 26 (UNI) Five boys of the same family, aged between ten and 13, drowned in a lake near Gandigwad village in this district.

Police said the boys, who belonged to the Kolkar family of the village, had gone for a swim last evening in the lake. As they did not return till late in the evening, their parents started looking for them and found their bodies. The bodies have been fished out.

The deceased were identified as Mahantesh Kolkar, Babu Kolkar, Madivalappa Kolkar, Ramesh Kolkar and Fakirappa Kolkar, all cousins.
