CRPF picket attacked, live grenade found in Kashmir

Srinagar, May 26 (UNI) Militants today attacked a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) picket near National Istitute of Technology (NIT) at Hazratbal while one live grenade was found outside the boundary wall of Mughal garden Harwan.

Official sources said militants hurled a hand grenade towards a CRPF picket near the NIT. However, the grenade missed the intended target and exploded at a distance without causing any damage.

They live hand grenade, found outside the boundary wall of the Harwan garden, was later defused by the bomb disposal squad.
