Child burnt to death

Aizawl May 26 (UNI) A six-year old boy was burnt to death in a fire that destroyed the quarters of his familiy last night.

The victim's mother ran out of the house carrying her twin daughters, thinking her son had followed her out. The fire was believed to have started from a lit candle.

Only when she heard cries from inside the house, did she realise that the boy was trapped. The boy's father was attending church when the incident occurred.
