Charges framed against Prabhunath Singh, six others

Bhagalpur (Bihar), May 26 (UNI) A local court today framed charges against JD (U) MP from Maharajganj Prabhunath Singh and six others in connection with a murder case.

Presiding officer of the fast track court Shambhu Nath Mishra framed charges against Mr Singh for his complicity in the murder of Daroga Rai and Rajendra Singh at Dhanuki village under Masrakh Assembly constituency during Bihar Assembly elections in 1995.

According to the prosecution, the JD (U) leader had allegedly shot dead the twp ,em at booth number 99 under Masrakh Assembly constituency during polling. The case was transferred from Chhapra to Hazaribagh district and later to Bhagalpur.
