Additional sessions judge Rajneesh Kumar, who is also a Special judge under the SC/ST Act, sentenced the accused Vijyendra Singh, who had, in 1994, abused the labourer, to one year imprisonment under Sections 3 (1) part 10, Section 3 (2) and Section 6 of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

The judge also imposed a fine of Rs 2,000 on the convict.
