Balmuchu calls for opposition unity in Jharkhand
Ranchi, May 26 (UNI) The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee today appealed to opposition leaders including Jharkhand Mukti Morcha supremo Sibu Soren and expelled larty leader Stephen Marandi to stop criticising each others and remain united for betterment of the state.
JPCC president Pradeep Balmuchu, in a statement, said the UPA had raised issues concerning to the prevailing situation in the state and the failure of the NDA government both inside and outside the assembly.
''And now on the same issues former chief minister Babulal Marandi resigned from the BJP and the Lok Sabha and took pledge to solve problems facing the people in the state,'' he pointed out. Under this situation, the opposition leaders should seriously review the situation and decide strategies to fight and solve the basic problems of the people, he said.
He also said the opposition leaders could discuss and unitedly prepare a blue print for the development of the state.
