ACB unearths assets from engineer's house

Hyderabad, May 26 (UNI) Sleuths of the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) today raided three residences of S Satyanarayana Rao, Executive Engineer of Panchyat Raj Department.

According to a release from ACB, the officials unearthed Rs 45 lakh worth disproportionate assets, including 47 sovereigns of gold and 1.5 kg of silver, chit funds documents worth Rs 13 lakh, one four wheeler and two two-wheelers.

The raids were conducted on his residences at Jagityal, Karimnagar and Hyderabad.

Mr Rao, who was arrested would be produced before Special Judge for ACB cases, Hyderabad, the release added.
