ACB officials nab IT officer accepting bribe

Mumbai, May 26 (UNI) Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths today caught an Income Tax officer red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 40,000 from a client at his office at Churchgate in South Mumbai.

Top Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) sources confirmed that H Narayan was trapped earlier in the day while accepting the bribe from a complainant.

The search operation in Narayan's house is still on and he will be produced in special court tomorrow, he added.
