Villarreal agree two-year deal with Arsenal's Pires

MADRID, May 25: Arsenal's French midfielder Robert Pires has agreed a two-year deal with Villarreal, the Primera Liga club said today.

''I am delighted to agree this deal with Villarreal and hope I will be able to help them build on their impressive achievements of the last two years,'' Pires was quoted as saying on the club's website.

Villarreal said his official presentation will be on July 2 or 3.
