Tunisia's Namouchi recovers from injury

GLASGOW, May 25: Rangers midfielder Hamed Namouchi has recovered from ankle ligament damage and is fit to play for Tunisia at the World Cup.

Namouchi suffered the injury 13 minutes into a reserve match on April 18. The Rangers website today said that Namouchi, 22, was fit to play in Tuesday's warm-up match against Belarus.

''There were real concerns that he might not make the Tunisia squad,'' a statement said.

''Namouchi went back to France for intensive treatment and was also treated by the Murray Park medical team ... and is back in full training.'' Tunisia are in Group H with Spain, Ukraine and Saudi Arabia for the final starting on June 9.
