TIFR students take out silent march
Mumbai, May 25 (UNI) The students of Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) today organised a silent and peaceful protest march against the government's proposed decision to allocate an additional 27 per cent quota in institutes of higher education.
Some 30 to 40 students carrying candles, placards and wearing black ribbons marched from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) to Azad Maidan in south Mumbai against reservations at about 1800 hrs.
