Three killed, seven injured in Kashmir blast

Srinagar, May 25 (UNI) Three people were killed and seven others injured in a grenade blast on the outskirts of the city this afternoon shortly before Prime Minister Manmohan Singh left for New Delhi.

Sources said militants hurled a hand grenade at Batapora near Hazratbal, about 12 km from here this afternoon. The grenade exploded near a tourist bus killing three people on the spot and injuring seven others.

The injured have been hospitalised, they added.
