Threat to life of MP Minister
Bhopal, May 25 (UNI) Police is investigating into the reported threat to life of Madhya Pradesh Cooperative Minister Gopal Bhargava received on his cell phone from a BJP worker of his home district Sagar.
Mr Bhargava, who was in the state capital, received the threat around midnight on Monday last, police said. He had immediately alerted the Shyamla Hills police station and sought identification of the caller without registering a case.
Police sources said investigations revealed that the caller cell phone belonged to one Narendra Tiwari,.a BJP worker of Sagar.
Sagar Superintendent of Police K P Khare said prima facie, it appeared Narendra Tiwari had no role since his cell phone was stolen much before the incident. But who had used the 'stolen' instrument to threaten the minister was yet to be ascertained, he added.
