TCS launches Banking and Financial Service Solution Centre

Chennai, May 25 (UNI) Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Limited, the leading Information Technology consulting, services and business process outsourcing organisation, today announced the launch of a dedicated Banking and Financial Services Solution Centre (BFSSC) here.

Coming as part of company's series of strategic moves, the consolidation of banking and financial services was designed to provide market advantage to its clients through highly integrated IT and business solutions, Mr Ravi Viswanathan, Vice President and Head, Chennai operations said.

Addressing a press conference here, he said the exclusive focus on BFS from this centre would help TCS in leveraging the strength of over thirty years of collective experience.

He said the company's list of clients inlcuded Fortune 500 and well known names like Citigroup, Deutsche Boerse, Dubai International Financial Exchange, JP Morgan Chase and Kuwait clearing company. The company has employed more than 3200 associates who specialised in providing IT services to these clients, he added.

Located on the city's IT corridor, the BFSSC was equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities, including self contained secure client-specific modules, demo labs and certification test centres, he added.
