TCI Q4 profit at Rs 4 cr; up by 103 per cent
New Delhi, May 25, (UNI) Transport Corporation of India Ltd (TCI), a major integrated logistics and supply chain solutions provider, today announced that its net profit for the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2006 stood at Rs 4 crore registering a 103 per cent increase.
The corporation also reported a 56 per cent increase in its net profit to Rs 16.03 crore for the current year as against Rs 10.29 crore in the previous financial year.
It also registered an 18 per cent growth in net revenue of Rs 864.10 crore in the financial year ended March 31, 2006 as against Rs 734 .32 crore in the previous financial year. The revenue for the fourth quarter was Rs 245 crore.
The earnings per share (EPS) stood at Rs 15.27 for FY 2005-06, with a growth of 56 per cent over the previous year.
The board has also declared a dividend of 25 per cent.
