RS Sharma given additional charge of CMD ONGC

New Delhi, May 25 (UNI) The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has given additional charge of the post of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) to the senior most full time functional director R S Sharma, Director (Finance) as on interim arrangement.

The appointment was made following the the expiry of the five year term of Mr Subir Raha as CMD ONGC last evening.

A ministry release said that it has been decided to initiate the selection process for a new CMD through the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB).
