Srinagar, May 25 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh left for New Delhi this afternoon after chairing the two-day 2nd Round Table conference on the Kashmir issue.

He was seen off at the airport by Governor Lt General (Retd) S K Sinha, Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, his cabinet colleagues and top officials.

This is for the first time that the Prime minister was accompanied by about nine Union secretaries of different ministries to take on the spot decision on developmental and other projects.

During his two-day stay here, the Prime Minister chaired the Round Table conference in which 48 leaders from different political parties participated and also presided over the Unified Command meeting.

He also reviewed the developmental activities going on in the state under the central package.

Dr Singh also addressed a press conference before leaving for Delhi from the technical airport.
