Rains to continue in MP
Bhopal, May 25 (UNI) A wet spell is likely to continue for two to three days in Madhya Pradesh due to the influence of upper air cyclonic circulation over coastal Orissa.
Precipitation was recorded in almost all parts of the state over the past 10 days.
Meanwhile, 'nautapa' -- a nine-day period of annual extreme heat -- began today but the weather is quite the opposite as the state capital witnessed overcast skies. The day's temperature remained below average.
Regional Meteorological Centre Director D P Dubey said the circulation was causing showers in Orissa and neighbouring Chhattisgarh.
''Squalls accompanied by rain is likely to continue over the next two to three days here, especially in southern parts,'' he added.
