Pvt med students continue agitation against reservation
Barrackpore, May 25 (UNI) Medical students of Guru Nanak Dental Medical College today continued agitation at Panihati in North 24 Parganas to protest the increase in OBC reservation.
The agitating junior doctors also suspended outdoor services for about an hour, hospital authority sources said here. They also stayed away from classes.
According to the sources the hospital services normalised later.
About three hundred students of the medical college blocked the Barrackpore Trunk Road yesterday.
Students squatted on the road and raised slogans during the agitation which was stopped following police intervention.
