Pro-quota: PMK cadres stage demo

Tiruchirapalli, May 25: Members of the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK), a key constituent of the ruling United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government at the Centre, staged a slogan shouting demonstration in support of 27 per cent Reservation for OBCs, here today.

The agitation was staged in front of the district collectorate.

The agitators, led by party's state Deputy General Secretary Kesava Ramalingam, urged the Centre to implement the reservation and not to succumb to the anti-reservation stir.
