Talks with militants after they abjure violence: PM

Srinagar, May 25: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today reiterated his government's readiness to talk to anyone willing to abjure violence and give up the path of terror.

''I have already said that anybody who shuns violence and gives up the path of terror...We are willing to find ways and means to interact with all such groups,'' Dr Singh said at a news conference here.

He also said that the issue of the return of the Valley's youth who had crossed the Line of Control (LoC) and were now willing to return to their homes could be discussed at an appropriate forum keeping in view all security aspects.
