Officials caught taking bribes

Hyderabad, May 25 (UNI) Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths today trapped two officials while they were accepting bribes.

K Veerachary, Executive Engineer, R&B Electrical Division, Kurnool was caught while accepting a bribe of Rs 4,000 from the complainant for passing his bills.

In the second case, Ramarapu Asiran Dora, Work Inspector with the AP State Housing Corporation Limited's Krishna District office was caught red-handed by the ACB officials yesterday at his office while accepting Rs 1,000 from P Butchi Babu of Krishna District for processing a bill for Rs 10,000.

In both the cases, the tainted amount was seized and the accused were arrested, an ACB press release here today said.
