Nine awarded life imprisonment

Sasaram (Bihar), May 25 (UNI) A local court today awarded rigorous life imprisonment to nine people in a kidnapping case.

District and session Judge Arun Kumar Srivastav found all the nine accused guilty and sentenced them life imprisonment after hearing the arguments of both sides.

According to the prosecution, the accused had kidnapped Shashi Kumar Sinha on February 7 last year.

Those who were sentenced were Deepak Kumar, Kanhaiya Lal, Pradeep Kumar Srivastav, Vimlesh Kumar Singh, Madan Thathera, Upendra Kumar, Santosh Kumar Gupta, Ramji Prajapati and Abhay Kumar.
